Recently I was thrift store shopping, cause who doesn't love a good deal, and I came across a brand new (without the boxing, of course) for $10! I was thrilled! I haven't worn Evelynn since she was 5 months, so I was eager to get back into the baby wearing scene. I got home and washed it, and decided to try out out right away!
Front Carry:
Now I'm a plus sized momma, and even so, the waist strap fit great, and I
really appreciated that! I have to admit, I didn't watch the video on how to put her in, but it was pretty obvious to figure out! I liked how comfortable she seemed, and for a 15 month old to be confined in a carrier when she's used to running around like a crazy lady, that's amazing.
Back Carry:

The back carry was a little more difficult, so I did pull up the youtube video on it(link below), and I'm glad I did! I would have never figured it out on my own, and the way they do it is great. I do admit I was a little scared at first, so I had the boyfriend help me, just keep a hand on Evelynn while I did it, and after a couple times, I felt comfy enough to do it alone! The first time I wore her n public, she only stayed in a couple of minutes, and I was worried that she just wouldn't enjoy being in there, but I went home and tried to figure out how to make her more comfortable and it resulted in the above picture. I just put the waist strap under my tata's and she loved it 100% more! I'm sure it's because when the waist strap was lower, she wasn't high enough to see over my shoulder. So with the problem fixed, she's ready to go! At first I thought the strap that connects the shoulder straps was going to bother me, and then I realized that there's a slider on it, so it goes as low as is comfortable :D
I definitely recommend the Ergo to any mommy and daddy out there.
